STILLWATER RANCH: Is a private waterski club located near Sacramento California. We have 2 beautiful waterski lakes each with clear blue water, a dock, and maintained slalom courses. See our Photos! Our newest lake was built in the summer of 1998, with it's longer length and wider width it's perfect for both wakeboarding, and barefooting. We are always happy to help with any members needs.
SASHA: Has worked in the recreation/resort industry for over 15 years. She is enthusiastic about our club, often stopping by the dock to see how things are going and to make sure everyone is having a good time. She is available to drive if we need, and can help set you up with a skiing buddy.
SKIING,WAKEBOARDING,& BAREFOOTING: Skiing is the primary use for our ski lakes, but wakeboarders, and barefooters are welcome. The slalom courses are tournment design, and free of the foating obsticules that you find on public water ways. Rotations are 6 passes through the course, or 3 falls, or approximately 15 minutues. This seems to work well, giving everyone plenty of time to ski.
COACHING: We will be happy to spend time with you either on your skiing or boat driving. We have helped many members break through to the next level of excellent skiing. There is no charge for this, we encourage all our members to take advantage of this FREE service.
TREES: We have planted several thousand trees (RedRiver Gum Eucalyptus & Hybrid Male Poplars). We are very excited about the growth rates of both types of trees,(6'-12' per year). We already have great wind protection through these fast growing trees.
MEMBERS: Stillwater Ranch is a place were nice is not a bad word. Everyone is very nice! WE HAVE THE BEST MEMBERS!!! Members mostly live in the Sacramento area, but we are starting to get more members from the Bay Area. The docks are shaded and everyone always gets plenty of skiing in. We are a relaxed club where fun is first!
CLUB PARTY: Stillwater Ranch has two Bar-B-Que club parties a year. It is a great chance to get together and make new friends with the members from both lakes. They are always fun and with the laid back atmosphere it is great to hang out with everyone for an afternoon.
